Carolyn Jansons will be putting her municipal law experience to use as a member of the Plan Commission for the Village of Elburn. Carolyn was appointed by Village President, Jeff Walter, to the Elburn Village Plan Commission at the Elburn Village Board Meeting on Monday, June 18, 2018, and the appointment was confirmed with the advice and consent of the Elburn Board of Trustees.
The Plan Commission meets once a month and reviews applications for zoning map amendments, zoning special uses and planned unit developments, zoning text amendments and other things. Having been on the side of providing legal advice in these same processes, Carolyn will now be on the policy making side of the process as a member of the Plan Commission.
